FAQs

I am fully vaccinated, do I need to wear a mask in class?

  • As of August 2021 the CDC has mandated for everyone to wear a mask especially for indoor activities, regardless if you are vaccinated, SCNYC abides with ethical social morale. We ask that if you wish to take a class with us please respect and comply with CDC guidelines.

What if I found out I was in contact with someone with covid or believe I may have covid on the day off class?

  • The reality is Covid-19 and all the variants surfacing around the globe are now part of everyone’s everyday reality. While we’re all collectively figuring out how to navigate life with covid, last minute rescheduling on the same day of the class is NOT permitted. Client’s are responsible for getting in contact with SCNYC at least 24 hours prior to the class date to reschedule, cancel or request for refund without losing the class credit. This applies for group classes and private lessons.

What should I wear for class?

  • We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Dance shoes are not required but are welcomed. Get your first pair of dance shoes with us at Salsa On Air Collection

I paid for a private/group class but I haven't received an email confirmation?

  • Thank you for completing the 1st step of the registration process, please allow until the end of the day to receive an email whether or not the class is available. Please note, due to covid-19 all of the group classes are limited capacity and is subject to be available or fully booked for registration.

Can I show up to the studio without registering for a class?

  • Because our group classes are subject to take place in multiple locations, it is imperative that clients sign up in advance to be confirmed for a spot in class. The studio location is confirmed on the morning of the class date via email.
